Broadway Breaks A Hundred

Three of Broadway’s most popular musicals have broken the $100 ticket barrier.

“Monty Python’s Spamalot,” “Wicked” and “Mamma Mia!” are now charging $110 for regular orchestra seats, not including facilities fees and/or handling charges.

Other musicals such as “The Lion King” and “Avenue Q” are currently holding ticket prices at $100 or less for the same type of seating, but that isn’t expected to last once the upcoming holiday season kicks in.
