Tickets for that show will be honored November 3 at Tampa’s St. Pete Times Forum. Ticketholders for the Ft. Lauderdale show who can’t make it to Tampa can get refunds.

“Depeche Mode was excited to launch the tour in South Florida,” band manager Jonathan Kessler said. “However, they’re not willing to jeopardize the safety of their fans, who would be putting themselves at risk traveling to and from the event under dangerous conditions.”

Depeche Mode is out in support of their latest album, Playing The Angel.

The North American tour runs through December 9, and includes two-night stands in Los Angeles and New York City.

A European tour leg starts January 13 in Germany and the band has shows booked into April.
