Juan Gabriel Tour Postponed
Singer Juan Gabriel‘s North American tour dates have been postponed and the Mexican superstar remains “under observation until his physicians advise that he can resume his normal activities,” according to representatives.
Gabriel reportedly tripped and fell during the opening minutes of his November 13 show in Houston, Texas, apparently suffering a broken wrist and concussion. Details about his condition have not been released.
In addition to Houston, the affected tour stops are New York City, November 16; Fairfax, Va., November 17; Miami, November 19; and Rosemont, Il. on the 20th.
Gabriel’s management and concert organizers are working to reschedule the shows for next March and are expected to provide an update in the next couple of weeks. Tickets for the original concerts will be honored for the new dates.
