Nada Surf has announced a winter/spring 2006 tour in support of its latest release, The Weight Is A Gift, with more than a month’s worth of dates spread across the country.
Venerable clubs like San Francisco’s Fillmore and Detroit’s Magic Stick are on the itinerary, which has them starting February 8 in Baltimore.
They’ll hit more than 20 states and three Canadian provinces on the tour, which will wrap March 11 at Lee’s Palace in Toronto.

The Weight Is A Gift was produced by Death Cab For Cutie’s Chris Walla, who also performs on the album. Barsuk released the album in September.
