Venerable clubs like San Francisco’s Fillmore and Detroit’s Magic Stick are on the itinerary, which has them starting February 8 in Baltimore.

They’ll hit more than 20 states and three Canadian provinces on the tour, which will wrap March 11 at Lee’s Palace in Toronto.

Nada Surf is currently rocking its way across Europe on a busy schedule that runs through December 9. Two days later, they’ll be in Los Angeles to play the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas show with Depeche Mode, Coldplay, The White Stripes and more.

The Weight Is A Gift was produced by Death Cab For Cutie’s Chris Walla, who also performs on the album. Barsuk released the album in September.
