New Key Club At Morongo

The Key Club in West Hollywood is partnering with the $250 million Morongo Casino, Resort & Spa near Palm Springs, Calif., to reopen and manage the casino’s nightclub.

The 20,000-square-foot, multi-level Key Club at Morongo features a 300-square-foot stage and state-of-the-art lighting and sound. The venue will also be used for special events to accommodate groups of 50 to 1,200 people.

“Entertainment at this spectacular new venue will include various genres of national and international headliner acts as well as dance nights featuring some of the best deejays in the industry,” Key Club partner Keith Pressman said in a statement.

The casino’s original club, called Desert Rain, was designed to cater to a younger, wealthier crowd when it opened about a year ago. It reportedly closed in June after the Morongo tribe parted ways with the venue’s original operator over less-than-stellar business.

The Key Club at Morongo is scheduled for a soft opening on New Year’s Eve. Grand opening festivities are set for January 14th.
