Bob Enevoldsen Dies

Jazz trombonist Bob Enevoldsen died November 19th at a Woodland Hills, Calif., hospital.

Enevoldsen, 83, performed with artists including Shelly Manne, Bobby Troup, Terry Gibbs, Art Pepper and Shorty Rogers in the 1950s, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The trombone and bass player worked as a studio musician for television and films.

Most recently, Enevoldsen performed with the Bill Holman and Jack Sheldon big bands, the paper said.
