Cantrell Suffers Rock ‘N’ Roll Injury

Former Alice in Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell is recovering from shoulder surgery after being diagnosed with bone spurs and torn cartilage – a condition not uncommon among musicians and athletes.

Los Angeles surgeon Dr. Stephen Lombardo predicted Cantrell would fully recover and should be able to resume full activity in a few months.

The guitarist is scheduled to perform on an episode of VH1’s “Decades Rock Live!” March 10th, joining Alice In Chains bandmates Sean Kinney and Mike Inez onstage at Atlantic City, N.J.’s Trump Taj Mahal.
