Enzo Stuarti Dies

Tenor Enzo Stuarti, 86, who performed at NYC’s Carnegie Hall, on Broadway and in TV commercials, died of heart failure December 16th in Midland, Texas.

Stuarti first appeared on Broadway in 1951. He went on to perform in a dozen Broadway musicals including “Around the World in 80 Days” and “South Pacific,” and recorded albums which covered everything from opera to pop.

Stuarti’s singing career got an added boost from his appearance in Ragu spaghetti sauce commercials.
