The coast-to-coast outing is dubbed the Matt Hoopes Birthday Tour, for obvious reasons: Guitarist Hoopes’ special day falls on February 15, the day the trek kicks off in Kansas City, Mo.

The itinerary includes stops throughout the country, stretching through April 1, when they’ll wrap at Columbus, Ohio’s Newport Music Hall.

Maxeen and The Rocket Summer are booked to open at all shows.

Relient K is supporting its recently released Apathetic EP, which follows the gold full-length Mmhmm from 2004.

Last year, Relient K toured arenas and amphitheatres with Good Charlotte and Simple Plan, co-headlined with MxPx, and appeared on the Vans Warped Tour main stage.
