Isle of Capri Moves

Isle of Capri Casino Inc. will move its corporate headquarters from Biloxi, Miss., to a St. Louis suburb this summer, according to a company statement.

About 150 jobs will relocate, and the move is expected to cost about $10 million.

Capri will maintain a regional presence in Biloxi, the company said. Isle of Capri operates casinos in Mississippi, Missouri and Louisiana, among other states, but the company announced it would move its headquarters after Hurricane Katrina and frequent evacuations.

At the time of Katrina, it took about 10 days for Capri to make sure all of its vice presidents were safe.
