D.C. Music Biz Tastes Wine

Once a month, wine critic for The Washington Post Ben Giliberti sits down with four “amateurs” in a wine-tasting panel.

Recently, the event featured people from the area’s music industry, including Donna Westmoreland, the VP of operations and marketing for D.C. promoter I.M.P. and the 9:30 Club.

Her boss, Seth Hurwitz, was originally scheduled for the wine tasting but couldn’t make it. Turns out, the Post landed a ringer in Westmoreland, who collects wine with her husband, and they lived in Napa, Calif., for a while when her husband ran an Internet-based wine operation.
