Warner International Replaces Chief

Warner Music Group has picked Patrick Vien, a former NBC Universal exec, as chairman and CEO of Warner Music International.

Vien will succeed Paul-Rene Albertini, who took the position in 2002.

The new CEO will be working from the company’s New York City headquarters and will report to WMG chairman Edgar Bronfman Jr.

Warner Music International operates in more than 50 countries.
