Montgomery Arrested

Lexington, Ky., police arrested John Michael Montgomery February 16th on charges of driving under the influence, concealing two loaded firearms and possession of a controlled substance.

Montgomery allegedly ignored a traffic light and smelled strongly of alcohol when he was pulled over. He was released several hours later.

Defense attorneys claim Montgomery has a prescription for pain killers and permits for the firearms, but didn’t have the permits with him.

He is scheduled to perform at least four shows between March 4th and August 9th.
