Quest Reopens

Minneapolis’ Quest nightclub reopened February 10th after unpaid fees in December led to its closure.

The venue lost its liquor license after owners failed to make a $10,000 payment to the city for installation of a nearby security camera, according to Minneapolis’ Star Tribune. The Quest also reportedly let its liquor liability insurance – another business requirement – lapse.

A couple of violent incidents took place at the club in 2005, but officials have since beefed up security.

“We’re looking for new ideas, things that are going to bring positive entertainment to the downtown area,” owner Gilbert Davison told the paper.
