LN Names Tickets.com Vet

Live Nation named former Tickets.com techie Joe Manna its chief information officer, the company announced February 24th.

Manna will report to Interactive division president Bryan Perez and is responsible for software development, information technology, tech infrastructure and network operations.

“Joe is a seasoned technology executive who will help lead our company to become more productive and technologically nimble,” Perez said in a statement. “Additionally, his deep background in ticketing is an incredible resource for Live Nation.”

That will be especially true as Live Nation likely looks to develop its own ticketing operations at its venues as existing Ticketmaster contracts expire.
