My Morning Jacket will open on the trek, which begins in Toronto May 9, a week after the new Pearl Jam album is slated to hit stores.

After a second Toronto show, the tour will head through arenas in 10 U.S. cities, wrapping with a two-night stand in East Rutherford, N.J.

Pearl Jam is planning dates worldwide this year in support of its eighth album, a self-titled effort due May 2 on J Records. The album’s first single, “Worldwide Suicide,” is available for download via the band’s official Web site.
