An ‘A List’ Agency

Hip-hop agent Jeremiah “Ice” Younossi has left Emmel Communications – the booking branch of Violator Management – to form A List Talent Agency in New York City.

Younossi’s exclusive roster includesLloyd Banks, Young Buck, Tony Yayo, Mobb Deep, Black Violin, Bad News Brown, and DJ Whoo Kid.

The agent said he will keep his roster small and work with other agencies to provide his artists worldwide touring opportunities.

“I believe that hip-hop has become such an amazing cultural movement worldwide, and agents have to be smart about how they approach international touring – not just in Europe, Australia and Japan, but throughout the world,” Younossi told Pollstar.

A List will work closely with 50 Cent‘s G-Unit Records and label president Sha Money (Michael Clervoix), who also runs Money Management Group.

“It’s a very exciting situation where you have the label and the management company and now the agency. We’ll be working with the same roster of artists,” he said. “I’ll be handling all of the live responsibilities and some strategic alliances that we’ll make.”

Younossi believes that keeping a smaller roster better enables him to focus on building each artist’s career.

“These guys are my number one priority. When I wake up in the morning, I think about ways I can help their careers,” he said. “That’s not to say that bigger agencies, or different ones, can’t provide great opportunities for our artists. We’re open to putting everything together in a unique way that’s never been done before.”

Younossi’s first project will be a May club tour with Mobb Deep – a group that has never been on a major tour. The jaunt will be in support of the group’s upcoming release, Blood Money, which drops in April on G-Unit Records.

A List Talent Agency’s will be located at 254 W. 31st Street, 4th Floor, New York, NY 10010. Contact is 212-359-3300 or [email protected].
