Lucas Expands Live-360

Dave Lucas and Live-360, the company he formed last year after leaving Clear Channel Entertainment, spent most of 2005 consulting and helping others promote their events. Now, he’s ready to concentrate on his own business and has hired four new staffers to that end.

All four are veterans of Lucas’ former company, Sunshine Promotions, and moved to SFX Entertainment, Clear Channel Entertainment and now its spinoff, Live Nation before joining Live-360.

New to the company are senior production manager Eric Milby, marketing director Jo Nahod, public relations director Andy Wilson and booking coordinator Amie LoPresti.

The addition of marketing and production services staff to the Indianapolis-based company heralds an expansion of the company, which continues to focus on arena business and alternative outdoor venues, venue development and consulting, along with the growth of its festival business.

Milby comes to Live-360 after handling production duties for the Verizon Wireless Music Center in Indianapolis. He’s also worked at The Vogue in Indianapolis and served as road manager for Leon Redbone.

Nahod handled marketing of events and festivals in the region including Indiana, Kentucky, eastern Ohio and Tennessee for Live Nation. She also oversaw marketing for the Verizon Wireless Music Center, the Murat Centre and The Lawn at White River State Park, and for Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati.

Wilson also comes originally from Sunshine Promotions, where he handled publicity and public relations in the region. While at Clear Channel he also assisted in various national initiatives.

LoPresti most recently served as booking coordinator for Live Nation and also served as Lucas’ executive assistant during his tenure as Clear Channel Entertainment’s music division co-CEO and president.

“Obviously, I’ve worked with all of them for many years and we have mutual respect for one another,” Lucas said. “My plans looking forward are to start expanding, because I’d been doing quite a bit of consulting in the past year with various groups for various things and it is time now to refocus on my company.”
