Spector Trial Postponed

The murder trial of “Wall of Sound” producer Phil Spector has been postponed until September because of scheduling conflicts between prosecutors and defense attorneys.

The trial had been set to begin April 24th, but one of Spector’s attorneys is involved in another trial in New York expected to go beyond that date.

Prosecutors were also preparing for the May trial of a suspect in the 1988 murder of famed racing promoter Mickey Thompson and his wife.

Superior Court Judge Larry Fidler set a September 11th trial date for Spector in the February 2003 death of actress Lana Clarkson in his Alhambra, Calif., home.

He is currently free on $1 million bail.
