The Florida-based group has a number of appearances scheduled in its home state, including the JVC Jazz Festival in Miami Beach. They’ll kick the season off with two days at the String Break Festival in Brooksville, Fla., April 8-9.

The Lee Boys are on board for two days at MerleFest April 29-30 in Wilkesboro, N.C., and the Floyd Festival in Floyd, Va., July 29-30.

They’ll also squeeze in a couple club dates, including a June 3 gig at Cleveland’s House of Blues. The group is currently booked through September 17, when they’ll be out west in Colorado at the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival.

The Lee Boys comprise three brothers and three nephews and follow in the tradition of Robert Randolph, fusing R&B, gospel, hip-hop, rock and country and anchored by pedal steel guitar.
