The band, which frontman Ville Valo describes as “gothic love metal,” will land in Ft. Lauderdale May 2. They’re slotted to play in East Rutherford, N.J., five days later, followed by the Sasquatch Music Festival May 26 in George, Wash. Along the way, they’ll hit cities including Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, Omaha and Salt Lake City.

After Sasquatch, they’ll head down to New Orleans and through the Southwest, wrapping in Las Vegas July 8.

Prior to visiting the States, the band will cap its trek through the U.K. with two shows in Ireland at Dublin’s Ambassador Theatre April 27-28.

HIM (short for His Infernal Majesty) released its fifth album, Dark Light, last September. The group toured the U.S., Canada and Mexico in the fall, selling out venues including Chicago’s Riviera Theatre and The Wiltern LG in Los Angeles.
