Air America Exec Exchange

Danny Goldberg, a longtime music industry executive, is stepping down as CEO of Air America Radio, but will remain with the progressive talk radio network as vice chairman.

He will be replaced by Jim Wigget, a management consulting firm exec, until a permanent replacement is chosen.

Rober Glaser, chairman of Piquant, the company that owns Air America, said Goldbergโ€™s appointment โ€œreflects Air Americaโ€™s desire to strengthen its outreach efforts to the progressive community.โ€ He said Goldberg brings unique skills and experience in those areas.

Goldberg joined Air America in February 2005. Previously, he was chief exec of Artemis Records, Mercury Records and Warner Bros. Records, and president of Atlantic Records.
