Crow On
Chris and Rich Robinson have announced plans to follow their ongoing acoustic shows with a full-on Black Crowes tour, supported for much of the summer by Robert Randolph & The Family Band and Drive-By Truckers.
The Black Crowes have 59 dates planned in all, starting April 28 in Scottsdale, Ariz., just two days after the Robinson brothers wrap their tour in Los Angeles.
The Crowes will do a few West Coast dates before heading up to Canada for nearly a dozen gigs in British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba and Ontario. They’ll hit a number of U.S. venues through May 27, then take a couple weeks off before heading out on an amphitheatre tour with Randolph and the Truckers.
The three bands will kick things off June 10 at Seattle’s White River Amphitheatre. They’ll traverse the U.S. for the next two months, wrapping August 12 at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre near Denver.
