The Flecktones will be joined by two bands in each city, with The Del McCoury Band, Umphrey’s McGee, Keller Williams, Yonder Mountain String Band, Natalie MacMaster, The Duhks, Nickel Creek’s Chris Thile, Adrian Belew, and Marc Broussard all participating.

The tour launches June 23 in San Diego. Yonder Mountain and Williams will join Fleck’s band for the first four dates in California, followed by two shows with Thile and The Duhks, and five with McCoury and MacMaster. Umphrey’s McGee will appear on the last leg of the tour, joined by Broussard for three dates and Belew for one.

Each artist will sit in on each other’s sets, and the performances will bleed into one another without breaks between bands. What’s more, each show will finish with a performance from all three acts together.

Boston, Philadelphia, Seattle and Atlanta are among the cities on the itinerary, with Cary, N.C.’s Regency Park hosting the final gig August 18.

The Flecktones’ other upcoming performances include Bonnaroo, Telluride, MerleFest, and theatre dates throughout spring, along with two NYC shows with Dave Matthews Band this August.
