AEG Gets A Bounce

Anschutz Entertainment Group has acquired Bounce Event Marketing, AEG President/COO Tim Leiweke and Bounce President/CEO Tim Swift jointly announced April 18th. Bounce, which specializes in marketing and producing live events, will become a division of AEG.

Bounce is โ€œknown throughout the entertainment and corporate industries for their creative and sophisticated production of special events to communicate a clientโ€™s message using corporate theater and large-scale event production to impact a specific target audience with genuine entertainment value,โ€ according to the statement.

Bounce will bring its full-time staff of five including COO Kristi Harman and continue to operate from offices in Santa Monica and New York City.

โ€œOver the years, several of our divisions and venues have worked very closely with Tim and Bounce on a variety of special events and productions including all six of the Grammy Awards shows that have taken place at Staples Center,โ€ Leiweke stated.

โ€œThey are the best in the industry at what they do and will clearly be an asset and great partners to a number of AEGโ€™s divisions, sponsors of our venues and events and ultimately guests and viewers who are impacted by presentations we are affiliated with.โ€

Bounce has produced events featuring artists such as Elton John, Paul McCartney, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Rod Stewart, and Gloria Estefan.

Bounce also produced the Recording Academyโ€™s annual MusiCares Person of the Year event and the World Economic Forumโ€™s cultural event with Quincy Jones.
