Live Nation and The Theatre at the Pond – the 7,000-seat configuration of California’s Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim – have entered into an exclusive booking arrangement.
LN brought in The Strokes March 25th under this agreement, and Rob Thomas and Jewel are on the books.
The full 19,400-capacity version of the venue remains non-exclusive.
An exclusive promotion agreement for a venue configuration is uncommon, and this secures LN a presence in a market that includes similar-sized venues like Gibson Amphitheatre (HoB Concerts), the Greek Theatre (Nederlander) and AEG‘s future venue, the Nokia Theatre.
