The Mars Volta will open at all shows.

The trek will start with a West Coast run, beginning August 11 in Portland, Ore., and finishing August 27 in Fresno, Calif.

Next comes a Canadian stretch from September 14 to October 1, with dates booked in Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto, Montreal and more.

The third leg will launch October 17 in East Rutherford, N.J., traveling down the East Coast into the South and back up to the Great Lakes region. The itinerary includes a headlining appearance at the Voodoo Music Festival in New Orleans October 28.

The last date on the books is a November 5 St. Paul show at the city’s Xcel Energy Center

Tickets for most shows go on sale May 13, the same day the Peppers headline the KROQ Weenie Roast in Irvine, Calif.

The 2-CD Stadium Arcadium is set for release May 9. The album is the follow-up to 2002’s By The Way.
