Khan’s Son Aquitted In Murder

The son of Chaka Khan was acquitted of murder May 5th in the shooting death of an aspiring rapper during a party at Khan’s home two years ago.

Damien Patrick Holland testified that he accidentally killed 17-year-old Christopher Bailey.

Holland testified he never intended to kill Bailey when he poked at him with an M-16 assault rifle when discussing an affair Bailey allegedly claimed to be having with Holland’s girlfriend.

A Superior Court jury in Los Angeles deliberated two-and-a-half hours before finding Holland innocent of murder, voluntary manslaughter and involuntary manslaughter May 5th.
