The band, which last toured the U.S. and Canada in 2003, will be on the road for more than six weeks, starting June 10 in Toronto. The 20-date itinerary includes two shows at Brooklyn’s Warsaw along with gigs in New York City, Chicago, San Francisco and more.

The tour will wrap in Vancouver, B.C., July 30. More shows are to be announced this summer in the U.K. and Europe, according to the band’s official Web site.

Flat-Pack Philosophy, the latest Buzzcocks album, was released in March.

New drummer Danny Farrant will join vocalist Pete Shelley, guitarist Steve Diggle and bassist Tony Barber at this summer’s concerts. Farrant recently replaced Phil Barker, who left the band in April.

Buzzcocks’ last Stateside visit was a quick trek in November and December of 2003. Earlier that year, the band toured the U.S. with Pearl Jam.
