The shows will take place at amphitheatres and arenas, a significant step up from the theatres Brown hit on his spring trek.

Lil Wayne, Ne-Yo, Dem Franchize Boyz, and Juelz Santana will also be on board for the tour. The 38-date trip includes stops in Cleveland, Toronto, Miami, Chicago, Dallas, Las Vegas and Seattle.

They’ll stay on the road through October 15, ending the tour in Southern California at Universal City’s Gibson Amphitheatre.

Prior to the amphitheatre outing, Brown will play a series of June radio festivals, including the WQHT Summer Jam at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., and the B-96 Summer Bash at Chicago’s Bridgeview Stadium.

The teenage R&B singer will release his first performance DVD, “Chris Brown’s Journey,” June 6. The disc includes footage of Brown’s promo tours of the U.K. and Japan as well as behind-the-scenes action from his video shoots and preparations for his spring U.S. tour.

Brown’s self-titled debut album was certified platinum less than two months after its November 2005 release.
