Spector Can’t Delay
Producer Phil Spector lost a bid May 12th to delay court proceedings on lawsuits involving his former assistant until his murder trial is over.
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge ruled that since Spector was the one to file suit first, he has to deal with consequences.
Spector claims Michelle Blaine siphoned hundreds of thousands of dollars from his accounts.
Blaine countersued, claiming Spector paid her to keep her from testifying against him in the murder trial in which Spector is accused of shooting actress Lana Clarkson in his home in 2002.
The murder trial has been postponed until January.
