The band was forced to axe a number of May concerts after frontman Justin Furstenfeld tore a ligament in his right leg. Furstenfeld’s injury occurred as he and the rest of the band were running the bases at Brighthouse Field in Clearwater, Fla., following a radio festival performance at the stadium.

The group will return to the road as planned June 17-18 with two radio festival appearances in Texas.

The rescheduled dates span June 23 to August 5, starting with a date with Candlebox in Southaven, Miss.

As previously announced, the group will appear at Lollapalooza August 4 in Chicago’s Grant Park before wrapping the tour in Maryland Heights, Mo., the following day.

Blue October is supporting its latest album, Foiled, on Universal/Motown.
