The 17-year-old singer/songwriter will be on the road into September, playing nearly three dozen theatres, fairs, festivals and outdoor venues.

Geiger’s itinerary includes an appearance at the KISS 106.1 BFD at Seattle’s KeyArena, as well as gigs at prestigious venues like The Fillmore in San Francisco and Nokia Theatre Times Square in New York City.

The Rochester, N.Y., native opened for Hilary Duff last summer and embarked on his first solo tour this spring. Last month, he was proud to announce (via his MySpace.com blog) that he and his band were now making the rounds in their very own tour bus.

“It’s pretty awesome,” Geiger said of the vehicle. “Don’t get me wrong, I loved piling into a van with a bunch of equipment and the band and trying to sleep while a seatbelt dug into my kidneys. OK, thats not true. But I’m so psyched because I have a home now. I know I have a definite place I can chill at the end of the night after every show. That’s pretty dope.”

The self-taught musician’s debut album, Underage Thinking, was released this March on Columbia.
