The trek will follow Zombie’s American Witch tour with Anthrax, which is set to run from June 30 to August 4.

The Zombie/Godsmack package will come to life August 25 at the Smirnoff Music Centre in Dallas, with two dozen cities booked over the next five weeks. The two bands will cover the South, East Coast and Midwest before finishing with a West Coast run. The last gig is set for October 1 in Concord, Calif.

Godsmack recently released its fourth album, appropriately titled IV, and Zombie is supporting his new disc, Educated Horses.

Zombie is also on board to write, direct and produce the latest installment in the “Halloween” film series. Dimension Films was evidently impressed with Zombie’s two feature films, “House of 1,000 Corpses” and last year’s “The Devil’s Rejects.”
