Embracing the digital revolution, the trio is taking its music directly to fans with the “Big Head Toddcast,” a podcast that regularly features three new songs per month.

The group still knows how to hit the road the old-fashioned way, though, and they’ll be getting even closer to the fans this summer on a three-month U.S. tour.

The band’s June gigs include three nights in a row at The Windjammer in Isle of Palms, S.C., supported by Jennifer Daniels. Dates all over the country will follow in July, including a slot at Minnesota’s 10,000 Lakes Festival.

They’ll cover the West Coast and Midwest the following month, making room for a series of co-headlining shows with Toad The Wet Sprocket in California and Nevada.

Big Head Todd’s itinerary stretches through September 4, when the group will appear at Silver Cross Field in Joliet, Ill.

The group’s lineup of Todd Mohr, Rob Squires and Brian Nevin has remained unchanged since its 1986 inception. The band’s latest album, Crimes of Passion, was released in 2004.
