Voodoo Experience Returns

The eighth annual Voodoo Music Experience returns to its traditional home in New Orleans’ City Park after temporarily joining the ranks of the city’s displaced last year after Hurricane Katrina.

Red Hot Chili Peppers headline the October 28-29 festival, and other confirmed performers include Duran Duran, Wu-Tang Clan, The Flaming Lips, Social Distortion, Kings of Leon, My Chemical Romance, and Drive-By Truckers.

More are expected to be added.

Last year, the festival was divided into two locations: one day at New Orleans’ Audubon Park and the second in Memphis.

A portion of this year’s Voodoo Music Experience ticket sales will go toward restoring City Park and surrounding neighborhoods.
