Family Sues Over Saratoga PAC Death

The family of a New Jersey woman who was run over and killed outside a Dave Matthews Band concert last July at New York’s Saratoga Performing Arts Center is suing for wrongful death.

Grania Maggio, 33, was walking with her friends back to their car when she was struck by a vehicle, killing her instantly.

Maggio’s parents recently filed a lawsuit against the car’s driver, Alexander Bennett, and his father, Bruce Bennett.

The suit alleges that the elder Bennett shouldn’t have allowed his son to drive under the influence.

The suit also names the owners of three Saratoga bars that Bennett was allegedly drinking in prior to Maggio’s death.
