In addition to Dylan and his band, a trio of Texas acts will appear at each show. The lineup includes Jimmie Vaughan with singer Lou Ann Barton, “guit-steel” wiz Junior Brown, and Elana James & The Continental Two. James appeared on the first ballpark tour with her former band, Hot Club Of Cowtown.

The tour starts August 12 at Fifth-Third Stadium in Comstock Park, Mich. Dylan and friends will hit 17 ballparks in all, including Doubleday Field in Cooperstown, N.Y., before finishing up at Memorial Stadium in Fort Wayne, Ind., September 5.

Dylan’s two previous ballpark tours featured another Texas icon, Willie Nelson. Willie has dates booked through September this year, including a lengthy tour with John Fogerty.
