Breaking Into Summer
Pennsylvania four-piece Breaking Benjamin will be on the road for nearly six weeks this summer, starting July 21 at Philadelphia’s Electric Factory.
The band will play Chicago’s Vic Theatre August 8, the day its third album, Phobia, hits stores. The 30-date itinerary includes radio festivals in New York and Missouri along with amphitheatre and club gigs throughout the East Coast, South and Midwest.
The trek will wrap back home in Pennsylvania at the Wachovia Arena in Wilkes-Barre August 30.
In late June, Breaking Benjamin invited fans to submit their designs for this summer’s tour laminate. The winner will be chosen via popular vote at the band’s Web site, shallowbay.com.
Dropping Daylight and Evans Blue will open at all dates.
Last year, Breaking Benjamin spent the summer on the road with 3 Doors Down and then headlined a fall tour with Smile Empty Soul and 10 Years.
