Madonna Sells Out Japan

Tickets for Madonna‘s September 16th concert at the Kyocera Dome Osaka and her Tokyo Dome concert on September 20th sold out in five minutes after going on sale at general ticket outlets on July 9th, according to Oricon magazine.

That’s a total of 80,000 tickets for both shows, with a top ticket price of 50,000 yen (US$440). A second Tokyo Dome concert was immediately announced for September 21st.

No additional Osaka show was announced. It will be Madonna’s first concert tour of Japan in 13 years.
