Perth Ban For Cannibal Corpse?

There was no fuss when Cannibal Corpse played Perth in 1995, but recent violent deaths of two young girls by sadistic killers has left the city raw.

West Australia’s politicians and family groups are lobbying to stop Cannibal Corpse‘s October 10th show in Perth.

Shadow police minister Rob Johnson said, “There is enough violence and youth suicide in WA already without any encouragement from awful groups like this. I feel sick at the thought of those lyrics being sung to the youth of WA.”

Young Media Australia president Jane Roberts added, “Songs about having sex with dead children – how could anyone think that is appropriate?”
