Arrest In Korn Show Attack

Atlanta police have arrested a suspect in the death of a man who attended a Korn show at the HiFi Buys Amphitheatre July 30th.

Michael Axley was arrested on a murder warrant for the death of Andy Richardson for allegedly punching him in the face.

Axley and others had been moving through the crowd picking fights, witnesses told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Earlier in the evening, Axley and others tumbled down a hill and crashed into Richardson and his group, resulting in a brief scuffle, a witness told the paper.

Axley and his group returned and one of them snatched Richardson’s hat, the witness said. Axley allegedly sucker-punched Richardson when he jumped up to grab the cap that Axley had tossed back.

Richardson was knocked headfirst into the concrete and died two days later.
