The Boys From Up North
Canadian synth-poppers Junior Boys have lined up their first major headlining tour, with concerts planned through early October.
The duo of Jeremy Greenspan and Matthew Didemus will play two Canadian shows in late August, then launch a series of U.S. dates September 5 in Cambridge, Mass.
They’ll hit 20 clubs including the Bowery Ballroom in New York City and The EARL in Atlanta, making a West Coast run in late September.
The tour will wrap at Chicago’s Empty Bottle October 8.
The Junior Boys’ new album, So This Is Goodbye, is due out this month on Domino. It’s the follow-up to the group’s 2004 debut, Last Exit, which the group supported by touring with Caribou and Mouse On Mars.
