Walking Famous In Nashville
Music City is getting its own walk of fame to honor Nashville’s musicians, producers and executives, with the first plaques to be placed in November.
The trail will run about one mile down the newly, and aptly, named Music Mile and will end at Musica Statue at Music Row, according to The Tennessean. The trail will treat visitors to such sights as the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, Schermerhorn Symphony Center, Gaylord Entertainment Center, Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum, and the planned Gospel Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
“This is exactly the right next big thing to happen in the city of Nashville,” Mayor Bill Purcell reportedly said at the walk of fame’s announcement August 10th.
Gibson Guitar is co-producing the walk along with the city, the Nashville Convention & Visitors Bureau Foundation and Metro Parks.
