What Did The Cop Do?

A police lieutenant was arrested for a minor offense July 29th at the Bon Jovi concert in East Rutherford, N.J., and local police won’t discuss it.

Maybe it had something to do with the band kicking things off with Elton John‘s “Saturday Night’s Alright (For Fighting)” or maybe not. But Lt. Rosario “Ross” Capuana of the Passaic Police Department was picked up on a disorderly conduct charge on a complaint from Giants Stadium security, Sgt. Jeanne Hengemuhleof of New Jersey State Police told The Herald News.

Lt. Christopher Storzillo of the department told the paper any officer misconduct is investigated through the department’s Internal Affairs Division, although he would not say if Capuana’s arrest was under investigation. Storzillo did say that generally a police officer arrested on charges of disorderly conduct could face disciplinary actions up to and including termination.

Capuana is set to appear in East Rutherford Municipal Court September 13th to face charges of improper behavior and disorderly conduct, a court clerk said.
