The disc comes out October 3 and the tour will launch three days later with the first of two shows in Los Angeles. Next up is a pair of shows in San Francisco, followed by more than a dozen major cities across the U.S. and Canada.

The band will hit New York City’s Madison Square Garden Theater October 24-25 and finish at home in Las Vegas with a slot at the October 28. The second annual fest will take over the city’s Sam Boyd Stadium for five days, finishing on Halloween.

Prior to the tour, the band has a lone U.K. gig at the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool September 8, as well as an appearance at the Virgin Festival in Baltimore later that month.

Sam’s Town was recorded with famed producers Flood and Alan Moulder and is the follow-up to The Killers’ 2004 debut, Hot Fuss.
