Summer Sonic Tokyo Sells Out

All advance tickets for the Tokyo end of Summer Sonic were sold out by the time the two-day festival opened August 12th.

Organizer Creativeman Productions reported 55,000 people attending each day, while about 35,000 attended each day of the Osaka version. Keane was the only act to cancel.

In addition to seven stages, the Tokyo event also hosted the finals of Air Guitar 2006 Japan, the winner of which will travel to Finland for the world championships.
