The Australian band has booked a 10-city U.S. tour, with U.K. dates to follow.

The trip will begin in Austin at La Zona Rosa September 20, with two more dates planned in Texas before gigs in Chicago and New York City.

Jet will release its second album, Shine On, October 3, the day before playing Anaheim, Calif.’s House of Blues. The trek is set to wrap at The Joint in Las Vegas October 7.

Come November, the band will tour the U.K. for the first time since 2004 with a handful of dates including Manchester, Birmingham and London.

The band played two concerts in Australia in mid-August but doesn’t plan to perform in its home country again until 2007.
