Boyd Calls On AEG

Boyd Gaming has contracted AEG Live to operate two venues in its Echelon Place entertainment project in Las Vegas.

AEG will produce and present shows in the 4,000-seat production theatre and 1,500-seat performance venue.

Echelon Place is a $4 billion development that will include the Echelon Resort hotel, Shangri-La Hotel, Delano Hotel and Mondrian Hotel, along with an expo center and retail promenade.

The complex is scheduled for completion in 2010.
