The quartet rounds out the year with a North American theatre and arena trek running October 26 – December 9. Taking turns in the support slot are Ted Leo / Pharmacists, OK Go, and Jenny Lewis and The Watson Twins.

DCFC toured with Franz Ferdinand in the spring, then headed to Australia for a headlining run. More dates in the States follow this summer.

Along the way, the band released “Directions,” an 11-video companion to its Grammy-nominated album, Plans, featuring a video for each song on the disc.

Recently television-based movie service provider Starz Cinema aired the debute of Death Cab’s documentary, “Drive Well, Sleep Carefully: On the Road with Death Cab for Cutie.”
